We’re heading for the mountains. Travel up into the central Drakensberg to the towering Cathkin Peak for a zip-line tour! Once we arrive, your local guide will give you a safety briefing by demonstrating how to slide on the cables and the safety procedures to be followed. Time to travel to the starting point in an open vehicle before sliding from platform to platform on a steel cable as the Drakensberg mountains unfolds. Take a moment to enjoy the view while your
guide points out interesting features or facts about the surrounding ecology. Stop by at The Valley Bakery for a spot of lunch before we descend into the Midlands. Visit to the internationally acclaimed Ardmore Ceramics where you can expect an exhibition of creativity. Finish the day with an iconic stop at the Nelson Mandela Capture Site for a peek into South Africa’s notorious history and a bucketlist photograph.
